Parenting feels like trying to hit a moving target that eventually grows up formulates it's own ideas and opinions and then takes the target and hits you over the head with it. The ability to compromise is the key to successful co-parenting. Parents who have significantly different methods of parenting create instability and possibly volatility within the home, whereby creating confusion, improper alignments and anxiety within their family system.
